What is DIRBS?

DIRBS is Pakistan's IMEI registration system. Phones not registered within 60 days stop working on Pakistani networks.

How to register

  1. Visit dirbs.pta.gov.pk
  2. Submit your IMEI and passport details
  3. Pay the applicable tax

Tax brackets (2026)

  • Phones under $100: ~Rs. 7,000
  • Phones $100–200: ~Rs. 18,000
  • Phones $200–350: ~Rs. 35,000
  • Phones $350+: 40%+ of value
